To all our Faithful Scala Film users…

We are pleased to announce that processing services for Agfa Scala Black & White Slide Film will continue to be available for many years to come.

Film supplies are again plentiful and in stock, and we have secured new sources for chemistry that allow us to be very confident in our ability to continue offering this service.

Please note that Main Photo & Imaging Service is now the sole (previously Authorized by Agfa) processor of Agfa Scala Film in the United States, Canada, Australia and other parts of the world. This is a role we do not take lightly and our desire is to maintain the strictest controls and provide a finished service that you can proudly use.

Important Notice:

To all those who purchased Pre-Paid Scala Processing Mailers from
Color Lab Miami and Color Reflections.

Effective June 30^th, 2006….

Color Lab Miami and Color Reflections have chosen to no longer reimburse us for the cost of processing their Scala prepaid mailers submitted after June 30^th, 2006. As such, we are no longer able to honor their prepaid mailers as payment for processing Scala film, after this date!

These mailers were sold by Color Lab Miami and Color Reflections under their own name and they are not affiliated with Main Photo & Imaging Service in any way. As our processing agreement with them ends on June 30^th, we encourage that you use any mailers you may have, just as soon as possible.

We are happy to announce that Main Photo & Imaging is now accepting pre-paid Scala Processing mailers from Color Reflections in Miami.

If you are one of these customers, simply mail in your Color Reflections mailer directly to us for processing. It will be processed and returned to the address indicated on your envelope.

As of late, there has been a lot of misinformation going around with regards to Agfa Scala Black & White Slide Film. We would like to set the record straight.

Agfa has, indeed, ceased to be a company and they are selling off their different divisions to a varied group of investors. Main Photo & Imaging has been exploring alternate sources for the chemistry necessary to process Agfa Scala Film and the results have been very encouraging.

In short, we feel there is no need for alarm. The future of Agfa Scala Black & White Slide film & processing is looking very positive.

Please note that Main Photo & Imaging Service is now the sole processor of Agfa Scala Film in the United States, Canada, Australia and other parts of the world. This is not a role we will take lightly!
