Agfa Scala 200x is currently being used extensively in Europe and the United States. This film is designed to be used by the advanced amateur and professional photographer for direct use in advertising, fashion, journalism, documentation & reproduction. It also renders excellent quality duplicates and performs extremely well for the hobbyist.

Medical use of the Agfa Scala 200x has been exciting. Doctors now have a method to create 35mm reproductions of x-ray photos that are the exact replica of the original image. This film is a great tool for educational seminars or hand-outs.

Law Enforcement agencies have also used the Agfa Scala 200x film. Simply by shooting latent fingerprints they are able to use the slide film to examine aspects of the fingerprint lifted off of various surfaces and get a black fingerprint on a light background.

Scala film has proved most versatile when scanned into a computer image file. The tonal ranges of Agfa Scala film render exacting image quality that’s great for use in magazine, document layouts or other purposes.

Agfa Scala Black & White Slide Film comes in 35mm, 120mm and 4x5--all rated at ISO 200. The film can be "pulled" 1 stop to ISO 100 and "pushed" up to 3 stops to ISO 1600.
